Consumer Terms of Sale
These terms apply where an individual purchases from Boltz Electronics wholly or mainly for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession. They should be read with our Terms of Service, Shipping & Delivery Policy and Returns & Refunds information.
Before you order
Please review the exact product specification, total price, payment method, delivery scope, delivery timing, access requirements and any product-specific restrictions before ordering. For large equipment, Boltz may request measured access information before releasing the order for fulfilment.
Order acceptance
Your checkout submission is an offer to purchase. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not necessarily mean the order has been finally accepted. High-value orders may be verified for availability, configuration, delivery access and payment risk before acceptance or fulfilment release.
Payment
Available payment methods will be displayed at checkout or otherwise communicated before purchase. If a manual bank-transfer option is selected, the order remains unpaid until cleared funds are received and identified. Payment method does not remove statutory consumer cancellation or faulty-goods rights.
Delivery
Order-specific delivery information forms part of these terms. Large goods may require specialist freight and access planning. Any customer-paid delivery or return cost that must legally be disclosed before purchase will be disclosed before the customer is bound by the contract.
UK right to cancel
For eligible goods bought online, a UK consumer may normally cancel without giving a reason by telling Boltz within 14 days after the day the goods are received, subject to statutory exceptions. You may use our Model Cancellation Form or make any other clear statement. After cancellation, goods should normally be sent back within a further 14 days unless Boltz has offered to collect them or another statutory rule applies.
Refund after cancellation
Where a statutory cancellation applies, Boltz will refund the payments required by law, including the least expensive standard outbound delivery cost where applicable. We will not deduct a card-processing, payment-processing or administration fee where the law requires a full statutory cancellation refund. A lawful deduction may be made for actual diminished value caused by handling beyond what would reasonably be permitted in a shop.
Large-product return cost
For a change-of-mind cancellation, the consumer may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where this responsibility and the information required by law were provided before purchase. For goods that cannot normally be returned by post, the applicable cost or a reasonable estimate will be supplied before purchase where required.
Customised goods
A genuine statutory exception may apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. Standard catalogue goods are not treated as bespoke merely because they are manufactured, assembled or ordered after checkout.
Faulty goods
Nothing in these terms limits rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other mandatory law relating to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or non-conforming goods.
International consumers
Where mandatory consumer law in the customer's country applies and cannot legally be excluded, those protections continue to apply.
